Great news! Karl Donaubauer (Access MVP) has just released the first edition of a planned series of 'newscasts' where he shares the latest news about Microsoft Access.

The 28 minute video is now available on Karl's You Tube channel.

Access User Group - LunchTime (AL)      Tues 28 Dec 2021

Maria Barnes & Crystal Long (Access MVPs) will be running the final session in a series called: General Tips & Tricks for the beginning developer for the online AUG Lunchtime group on Tuesday 28 Dec @12:00 USA CT (18:00 GMT).
The next session is called: Part 4 (conclusion) VBA. The session is free for anyone to join.

UK Access User Group (UK AUG) - Annual Seminar      Tues 8 Feb 2022

I will be leading two sessions at this seminar:
a) Automatic Form Resizing
b) Controlling the Application Interface

This is currently being planned as an all day live event which will be held near Chippenham, UK.
The event will be FREE to all UK AUG members.

Access DevCon 2022      Thur 28 + Fri 29 April 2022

The dates for the 6th annual Access DevCon conference have recently been announced.
Once again, DevCon will again only take place as a virtual event in Microsoft Teams.

Full details will be available on the DevCon website in due time.

Once again, it is intended to run a series of workshops on topics such as Power BI and Power Apps for Access developers if there is sufficient demand. If you are interested in such a workshop, you can register as an interested party on the DevCon Workshops web page.

Access User Group - Eastern Time (ET)      Fri 17 Dec 2021

I recently led a session on Controlling the Application Interface to the online AUG ET group on Friday 17 Dec. Further details about this event are available at the Access User Groups website.

The free session was recorded and the video will be available on You Tube in the near future.



Access User Group - Pacific (AP)      Thur 2 Dec 2021

Michael Aldridge is the Principal Program Manager for Access at Microsoft. Michael led a session explaining the Updated Access Roadmap and the new Access Connector for Dataverse.

Access User Group - Lunchtime (AL)     Tues 28 Sept 2021

I ran a session on Automatic Form Resizing to the online AUG Lunchtime group in Sept 2021.

The 1 hour session showed how to resize and reposition Access forms and their controls for users with different screen sizes and resolutions. The session also covered zooming forms in/out.

All required code is available FREE.

The session was recorded and is now available on the AUG You Tube channel.



Access User Group - Pacific (AP)      Thur 2 Sept 2021

Crystal Long (MVP) and I jointly ran a session on obtaining Extended File Properties using Access to the online AUG Pacific group in Sept 2021.

The 1 hour session was used to demonstrate two free Access applications used to obtain the extended file properties of any file or group of files in Windows.

All required code is available FREE.
